Refund policy
We provide a 30-day commercial return period, beginning on the date the customer receives the product.
This commercial policy does not exclude, reduce, or replace any mandatory consumer rights available under applicable law.
1. Change-of-Mind Returns
Customers who wish to return an eligible product because they have changed their mind should contact:
within 30 days after delivery.
For electronic components, circuit boards, electronic instruments, and related products, customers may open the packaging and carry out reasonable inspection and basic testing necessary to determine the nature, characteristics, and basic functionality of the product.
We do not require electronic products to remain completely unopened merely to qualify for consideration under this return policy.
For voluntary change-of-mind returns, however, the product should not have been handled or used beyond what is reasonably necessary for inspection and basic testing.
Where permitted by applicable law, a refund may be reduced if excessive handling has materially reduced the value of the product.
2. Electronic Products and Circuit Boards
We understand that customers may need to:
- Open protective packaging
- Inspect the PCB
- Check connectors
- Power the board for basic testing
- Carry out reasonable non-destructive functional checks
These activities do not automatically make a product ineligible for return.
However, damage resulting from customer actions may affect eligibility for our voluntary commercial return or warranty, including damage caused by:
- Soldering or desoldering
- Cutting traces or wires
- Permanent modification
- Reverse polarity
- Incorrect wiring
- Excessive voltage or current
- Short circuits caused by customer installation
- Physical modification
- Burning or overheating caused by misuse
- Installation contrary to product instructions
These restrictions do not remove mandatory consumer rights where the problem was caused by an inherent product defect rather than customer misuse.
3. EU Consumer Withdrawal Rights
Where applicable, consumers purchasing online in the European Union generally have a statutory 14-day right of withdrawal after receiving goods, without needing to provide a reason. Customers may generally inspect goods to the extent necessary to determine their nature, characteristics, and functioning.
For a statutory change-of-mind withdrawal, the customer may be responsible for the direct cost of returning the goods where this has been disclosed before purchase. Standard outbound delivery charges must generally be reimbursed, while additional costs for an upgraded delivery method need not be refunded beyond the standard-delivery amount.
4. UK Consumer Cancellation Rights
Where applicable, UK customers purchasing online generally have 14 days after receiving an item to notify the seller that they wish to cancel, followed by an additional period to return the goods. Customers may reasonably handle goods in the same manner as they could in a shop.
Where statutory cancellation rights apply, the standard outbound delivery charge will be refunded as required by law.
5. Defective, Damaged, Incomplete, or Incorrect Products
If you receive a product that is:
- Defective
- Damaged in transit
- Missing components
- Incorrectly supplied
- Different from what was ordered
- Materially inconsistent with its advertised description
please contact:
Provide your order number and, where reasonably possible, photographs or a short video showing the issue.
After the issue is confirmed, depending on the circumstances and applicable law, we may offer:
- Repair
- Replacement
- Partial refund
- Full refund
EU consumer rules provide remedies for faulty or non-conforming goods including repair, replacement, price reduction, or refund, and defective-product return costs are borne by the trader.
UK law also provides statutory remedies for faulty goods, including repair, replacement, price reduction, or refund depending on the circumstances.
6. Return Shipping Costs
Change-of-mind return:
The customer generally pays the direct return-shipping cost unless applicable law requires otherwise or Nexid Technology Limited agrees to pay it.
Defective, damaged, incomplete, or incorrect product:
Nexid Technology Limited will bear reasonable authorized return-shipping costs where a return is required.
Do not send a product back before receiving return instructions.
7. Original Packaging
Original packaging is helpful but is not an absolute condition for a legitimate claim involving defective, damaged, incorrectly supplied, or non-conforming goods.
For voluntary change-of-mind returns, customers should return available accessories, documentation, and packaging where reasonably possible.
8. Sale and Promotional Products
Products purchased during a sale or promotion are not automatically excluded from returns or statutory consumer remedies.
Sale pricing does not remove applicable rights concerning defective, damaged, misdescribed, or incorrectly supplied goods. UK official guidance likewise states that sale items retain applicable consumer rights.
9. Original Shipping Fees
For ordinary change-of-mind returns, original shipping fees may be non-refundable except where required by applicable law.
Where statutory EU or UK distance-selling cancellation rights apply, the cost equivalent to standard outbound delivery will be refunded as required by law.
Premium, expedited, express, or optional upgraded delivery costs may not be refundable beyond the cost of standard delivery where permitted by law.
10. VAT, Customs Duties, and Import Charges on Returns
VAT or taxes collected directly by TREEDIX at checkout will be handled as part of the refund where required by law.
Import duties, brokerage fees, customs charges, or taxes paid directly by customers to customs authorities or couriers may need to be reclaimed from the relevant authority or service provider and may not be refundable directly by Nexid Technology Limited.
11. Refund Processing Time
Once an approved return has been received and inspected, Nexid Technology Limited will normally process the merchant-side refund within 5 business days.
Where a shorter or specific statutory refund deadline applies, we will comply with the applicable legal requirement.
EU withdrawal rules generally require reimbursement within 14 days after notification of withdrawal, although the trader may in certain circumstances withhold reimbursement until the goods are received or evidence of return is provided.
UK guidance provides that refunds for distance-sale cancellations must generally be made within the applicable statutory timeframe.
After we issue a refund, banks and payment providers may require additional processing time.
